Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

This policy explains what information the Spider Drop game and the spiderdrop.app website collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. Spider Drop is published by Barton Eby Online Marketing, LLC under the name Arrow Stack Games ("we," "us"). It applies to the web version at spiderdrop.app/play, this website, and the Spider Drop apps for Android and iOS when they're released.

The short version: you don't need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number. If you choose to post a score, the name you type and your score appear on a public leaderboard. The web game has no third-party ads or tracking. The mobile apps, when released, will show ads from Google AdMob, which uses device information to serve and measure ads, and personalized ads only with your permission where the law requires it.

Information we collect

Leaderboard posts (only if you choose to post)

When you post a score, we store the display name you type, your score, the round you reached and the time you posted. The leaderboard is public: anyone who plays can see the names and scores. If players report a name, we also store a count of those reports. Please don't use your full real name or any personal details as your display name. Leaderboard data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, part of Google Firebase.

Technical information

Like any online service, the servers that deliver the game and leaderboard receive your device's IP address and basic request details (such as browser or device type and the time of the request). Google Firebase processes this information to deliver content and keep the service secure. We don't use it to identify you.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or payment information. There are no in-app purchases. If you email us for support, we'll receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information kept on your device

The game saves your best score, your sound and vibration settings, whether you've finished How to play, the last leaderboard name you used and which leaderboard names you've reported in your device's local storage. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data (or, for the apps, clearing the app's data or uninstalling it) deletes it.

Advertising (mobile apps)

The web version of Spider Drop doesn't show third-party ads. When the Android and iOS apps are released, they'll be free to play and supported by ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads (for example, watching an ad to get one more life). AdMob and its partners may collect and use:

This information is used to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, where you've agreed, personalize ads. To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

Your consent: if you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app will ask for your consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown. On iPhone and iPad, the app will ask your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your device's advertising identifier. If you decline, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized based on your activity across other apps and sites.

The website and web game

spiderdrop.app and the web version of the game are hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. The website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and the web game doesn't show third-party ads. Fonts, images and music are served from our own site. We don't currently use analytics on the website or in the game. If we add analytics or crash reporting in the future, we'll update this policy before we do.

How we use information

We don't sell your personal information for money.

Who we share it with

Under some U.S. state laws, letting ad partners use device information for personalized advertising may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You'll be able to opt out at any time from the app's settings or your device settings, as described below.

How long we keep it

Leaderboard entries are kept while the leaderboard is running. We may reset or trim the leaderboard from time to time. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to help you and then deleted. Information collected by AdMob is kept according to Google's own retention policies.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email us and we'll respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Spider Drop is a general-audience game that isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child posted personal information on the leaderboard, email us and we'll remove it.

Security and storage

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with Google, which may process it in the United States and other countries. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the small amount of information we handle.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, give notice on this site or in the game.
